Linda M. Iken
Linda M. Iken, executive director of Solstice Senior Living at Fenton, has over 25 years of experience working at all levels of senior living from independent and assisted living to memory care. Prior to accepting this position, she served as the executive director for four other properties in the St. Louis area.
As an executive director, Linda brings leadership, achievements and a broad expertise in operations, financials, sales and marketing to her communities. Linda loves to engage with her residents, their families and her team members. However, her true passion and deep devotion are to enrich the quality of the lives of the residents and their families. She instills, promotes and champions this culture through every level of her staff, encouraging them to participate and recognize the need for passionate care in the community. Linda holds a Missouri RCAL Administrators license. She is a board member of the Chamber of Commerce of Town & Country and is soon to be an active member of the Fenton Chamber of Commerce.
She currently lives in Fenton, Missouri, with her husband. In her spare time she loves spending time with her family, especially her two grandbabies, Barrett and Peyton.
Director of Sales and Marketing
Melanie Harris, director of Sales and Marketing, joined the Fenton team in 2019 and enjoys helping seniors experience all the benefits of community living. Growing up in St. Louis, Missouri, she has a clear understanding of the area she serves and a definite passion to make a positive impact. Melanie enjoys spending her free time with her family and friends.
Building Services Director
Teresa Eddings, Business Office director, has worked in retirement communities for over seven years. Before joining the Fenton community, she was a certified pharmacy tech for 11 years and an EKG tech at Children’s Hospital. When not busy doing payroll, human resources, and AP/AR, Teresa likes to knit, play the video game World of Warcraft and play with her three kittens.
Culinary Service Director
Richard Verde, Culinary Service director, has been in the food service industry since he was 14 years old. He started out as a dishwasher and worked his way up to his current position of Culinary Service director. He has worked in every area of culinary and trained under several exceptional executive chefs during his culinary career. During this time, he has also had the wonderful opportunity to own and operate his own restaurant. He is now 58 years old with seven children, four grandchildren and a wonderful wife of 35 years. Richard loves his job and has a great deal of passion to cook and serve his community.
Jennifer Cook has been with the Solstice family since 2018. Jennifer has over 10 years of customer service experience and she utilizes her great listening skills to improve the lives of residents. She loves making the residents smile and bringing a happy moment to their day with superior activity programs to enhance the quality of life for our residents. In her free time, Jennifer enjoys spending time with her children.
